Unfortunately, the emails alone couldn't keep the company afloat, even though the numbers were very encouraging with open rates of over 60% after some careful work to clear their inactive subscribers and to reengage the active subscribers.
Initially, I would design a number of versatile email templates, then after a brief was formalised, I'd aquire the graphical assets and start designing the email content. Our project managers would confirm products, prices and such which would then be included in the email. We would then forum on testing methods with the aim of maximising the emails performance. The results would be reviewed, final adjustments would be made, the emails would be published, and the sales would pour in.
